What is needed for proper administration of Saizen HGH:
1 Saizen* box
1 bottle of bacteriostatic water; 1 bottle of Saizen*; 1 instruction manual (also known as the 'package' or 'packet' insert)
1 mixing syringe
15 administering syringes
1 sharps container for disposal
The 'Saizen HGH' administration process:
Note: administration of Saizen HGH has been reconfigured as of 01/28/03 12:30PM, please discard any previous printed or electronically bookmarked (i.e. cache) versions of the 'Saizen' administration process.**** Saizen is an example, this illustration can be applied to several types of Human Growth Hormone for injection, always follow package inserts included with medication prior to application.
Step 1: Remove the cap from the bacteriostatic water and extract 3.0 cc into the mixing syringe at a moderate pace.
Step 2: Make sure 3.0 cc has been extracted out
Step 3: Remove the plastic cap from the small Saizen* bottle.
Step 4: Place the mixing syringe in the Saizen* bottle and slowly (a little faster than a drop per drop pace) insert the bacteriostatic water. Click on picture for closer shot.
Step 5: After 3.0 cc of bacteriostatic water has been inserted slowly turn the bottle until the liquid has mixed with the Saizen* powder. DO NOT SHAKE IT, SHAKING WILL RUIN THE PROTEIN MIXTURE AT THIS STAGE.
Step 6: Mixing is complete when the liquid has become clear and there are no more signs of powder left in the Saizen* bottle.
Step 7: If you are ready for your first dosage get an administering syringe ready. (It is recommended to take the dosage right before sleep to enhance the effects.) Otherwise go to Step 18.
Step 8: Remove the caps from the administering syringe.
Step 9: Insert the administering syringe into the bacteriostatic water bottle (now the mixed growth hormone)
Step 10: Extract the liquid at a moderate pace until 40.0 units is read on the syringe.
Step 11: Make sure the syringe reads 40.0 units. (this amount is 2 IU of HGH)
Step 12: You may administer the Saizen* in the belly area. The injection is only to go right below the skin. For other areas to administer the shot, please read the package insert.
Step 13: Dispose of the mixing and administering syringes in the provided container. (may not be the same as above)
Step 14: Take the bacteriostatic water (now the mixed growth hormone) and place in the refrigerator
Step 15: Make sure to place it in the refrigerator and NOT THE FREEZER
Step 16: Place it in a safe location where it will not fall on the floor and break
Final Step 17: Make sure the refrigerator is at a normal temperature. Keeping the bottle in the refrigerator will make the Saizen* last for 14 days after reconstitution.
